We were previously called Kirkcaldy and District Philatelic Society when we were established in 1936, in the late 1990′s we decided to change our name to Kirkcaldy Stamp and Postcard club to make the club sound more appealing to collectors.
We started having our meetings in the Rialto Cinema Tearoom on the High Street in 1936. Rialto is shown on the left of the postcard below.
We are a small friendly stamp and postcard club that meets in the afternoons during a season in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
We have a loyal group of members with a different level of knowledge between them all, which all goes well for new members who wish to learn.
Come along have a chat and coffee see what you think, everyone welcome.
A small yearly fee is payable along with a payment per meeting to cover rental of our hall and your refreshments.
Meetings are usually held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday afternoons of each month, doors open 1.30pm meetings start at 2pm finishing for 4pm.
Meetings are held in the Volunteer Fife Centre, 10 St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1ET.
