There was a less than usual number at the meeting due to holidays and illness, but this did not stop the President Tom Manson from entertaining us in his usual way, his hard work and research showed in his display of many postcards from 6 artists he collects, mainly, C.Burbrook, Graham Hyde, E.P. Kinsella, G.E. Shepheard, H.D. Sandford and Frederick Spurgin. He also showed Wee MacGreegor cards from the books by John Joy Bell these were compiled by various artists.
Not content with showing cards from them he had researched their family histories to put bones onto the cards.

Second half was a more local interest with over 100 cards delivered to Kirkcaldy Railway Station showing local businesses what was being delivered or arrived ready for pickup at the station. These were from 1893 up to 1920’s many businesses are well gone now. This drew many memories from members remembering some places they visited as youngsters.
Secretary Aileen Davis gave a hearty vote of thanks very much appreciated by Tom.
The postcards on show are only from the first half.
