1. A wee bit about us

Kirkcaldy High Street Rialto
We were previously called Kirkcaldy Stamp Exchange Club when we were established in 1936, then we changed to Kirkcaldy District Philatelic Society, in the late 1990’s we decided to change our name to Kirkcaldy Stamp and Postcard club to make the club sound more appealing to collectors.
We started having our meetings in the Rialto Cinema Tearoom on the High Street in 1936. Rialto is shown on the left of the postcards.
We have moved around quite a bit since 1936 in Kirkcaldy, our last place was we thought safe, but we have had to move again in 2015 so as we approached our 80th year, for season 2015/16 we have had to move yet again, our meetings will now take place in Kirkcaldy Hope Church formerly
Torbain Parish Church, it is situated in Lindores Drive/Carron Place, Kirkcaldy, Fife, KY2 6PS
